About KazanSummit

KazanSummit is the premier international economic summit of the Russian Federation and member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The summit was established in 2009 and has been held under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan since 2010. Beginning in 2012, KazanSummit is also held with the support of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation..

Mission

KazanSummit’s mission is improving and deepening the economic and business relationships of the Russian Federation and OIC countries. This is achieved through facilitating dialogue on trends in business, investment, and trade in Russia and OIC countries. KazanSummit provides a unique ecosystem where company executives, institutional & private investors, and high-profile government officials of the Russian Federation and OIC countries gather to discuss the key economic issues of the day.

Welcome speech of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan

Dear participants of International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries!

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and myself, I welcome you to the KazanSummit 2015.

For the 7th time Kazan gathered together the major international investors, representatives of the government, parliament members of OIC countries, and the elite of global business community. Every year, thanks to the International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries, capital of the Republic of Tatarstan for a few days becomes the main economic area of Russia and Islamic countries. We work hard to secure this status for Tatarstan.

International economic summit of Russia and OIC countries aims to show openness and readiness of the Russian Federation to the dialogue on the trade cooperation, foreign direct investment and economic potential of the Russian Federation regions, particularly, the Republic of Tatarstan.

I am sure that KazanSummit 2015 will be significant event in cooperation of Russia and OIC countries. It will raise our cooperation to the higher level.
